Hi everyone,
I was so happy to find this forum. I couldn't imagine what was wrong with me. I am now sure that I have OT although I have never been to a doctor about it. I have restless legs too but Advil works for that. it's the OT that concerns me. last week I was standing around waiting for bags at the airport and had to go sit down someplace. I am not as bad as some of you folks yet but I am getting worse. so far as long as there is something to lean on I'm ok. I'm just glad that I know what's going on now and can talk to people about it. I am 55 and have been like this for several years now. can't exactly remember when I first noticed it but it was very gradual. does anyone know if it just keeps getting worse and worse or do you just reach a plateau?

Dear" Dogpatch": Thanks for registering and hopefully the site has help you find the answer you were looking for. However, sorry that perhaps means you too have OT. I do recommend that you go to a medical center that has a Neurological Movement Disorder Department and find a neurologist who can give you a confirming diagnosis of your problem. In answer to your concern about the progression of OT, please ( if you have not already) go back to the homepage and click-on "My Experience with Orthostatic Tremor" Page and scroll down to my January 9, 2004 notes and there I believe I cover most of what might be of help to you.
Again, welcome to your new circle of understanding friends,
