New to the Forum and have a question already...

Hello, I am SBO and I live in south Texas.

I've had leg tremors for several years now, but they have worsened over the last year and the last several months. They are unbelievably unpredictable and very frustrating as all of you well know.

I have not been diagnosed, but from what you all have described and what I've already read in the medical literature, I believel I have OT and will discuss it with my neurologist at my yearly appointment tomorrow.

My question is, do any of you, or have any of you, heard of anyone with OT having it as a result of having to take drugs for a medical condition? In my case, this would be 1,000 mg of depakote each day for epilepsy.

My mother also had late onset epilepsy and was on a host of drugs for the rest of her life. Her legs shook so badly that she eventually had to use a wheelchair, but that was before anyone knew there was a condition called OT! Hopefully I can do something about this before that stage.
