Hello my OT friends. I am reporting in regarding my trial on Pregabalin (Lyrica) 75 mg. I have been trialing this new medication for 4 months now (under my new neurologist) and have found it much better for me. I can stand longer and the tremors do not start as quickly, I also feel more in control, so I am going to keep on this new medication. I take only 1 capsule in the morning and this holds all day, I was taking two in the mornings but dropped back to one.
When I started on Pregabalin I had trouble sleeping, not sure whether Pregabalin exacerbated the sleeping problem, as I have never been a good sleeper anyway. I am taking a sleeping tablet at the moment, but am quite comfortable with this as the new medication is better for me.
If anybody trials Pregabalin, I would be interested to see how you cope.
