Hi everyone

After two years of being told variously that my odd symptoms are because i'm female and my age (i'm 47), and also i'm anorexic (after eating it seemed to get worse so that I couldn't walk very far without feeling I was going to pass out-only when I stopped walking mind)-and having had my gallbladder removed, hysterectomy and ventral hernia repair (two of which didn't work properly but that's another story), I was finally referred to a neurologist after visiting A&E for the umpteenth time because my whole body was shaking, and I was asked if anyone had xrayed my spine and had they spoken to me about ME (thank God I don't panic!)
Anyway, we paid privately to see a neurologist quickly (despite seeing so many different consultants without help this really was the last specialist I wanted to diagnose me, but hey, you got what you got and it's better to know I suppose) Anyway I had some lovely tests with needles stuck into my leg and arm, and had the fun of hearing my 'helicopter' sounding nerves (their usual description for it apparently), and several long days later I was told I had orthostatic tremor, for which they said there is no known cause (great).
I have been given Rivotril (clonazepam) which have helped as I was able to have a week-end away with my fiance and walk around the shops without too much problem (can't remember the last time I could do that, it use to end pretty quickly with me feeling aggitated because as soon as I stopped walking I felt I was going to black out(I was told this was a panic attack :x ). I do find the tablets make me feel like i've got a permanent fuzzy head (hang-over style) but I hope that this passes. What I am worried about is that it says I shouldn't drive, and I really want to be able to find myself another job (I lost my last because they didn't know when I could go back to work so offered me severance pay, which helped, but it won't last much longer) Does anyone else take these tablets and drive?
I feel prretty low emotionally at the moment as my life obviously can't go on the way it use to and I had a lot of plans for the future; I am getting married again in June and we had a lot of good stuff mapped out - I'm reallt scared about the symptons getting worse over time - I want to live a really full and active life now I've found someone so great - is there hope?

Ps, I use to get some very odd heart symptons, like someone had nudged it (not a palpatation) these seem to have stopped too (touch wood) has anyone else had this?
