I was wondering if anyone has claimed a "disability credit" on their income tax return. In Canada there are a number of "disabilities" that if applicable mean you are eligible to claim this amount. "Standing" is not listed but should be in my opinion now that I am aware of how disabling this disease is.
I would appreciate knowing if anyone in Canada has claimed this and how it was received by Canada Customs. I do not know how the tax systems work in other countries but would be interested to hear if people have claimed this and how it was received by their tax departments.
