LISTING YOUR LOCATION WHEN YOU REGISTER

I had posted a previous message asking why people do not register their town/city/province/state/country when they register. I feel this would be very beneficial if we want to get together possibly in person to discuss possibly what we could be doing regarding a number of topics with OT.

The way it is now - I have no way of knowing where a number of people live and other than trying to contact them directly to find this out it will be impossible to even think about setting up any kind of meeting.

Hopefully people will edit their information and put this valuable information in. What do the rest of you think about this?

Bring some salmon when you come - one of the things I miss from NW USA here in Panama. (I realize that you are quite far from the salmon runs in British Columbia, but you're closer than I am.)

Hello Lake!

I, too, would like to know where people are located so if they are near me, we could perhaps meet and talk one on one about OT. I have met several wonderful women and it is amazing how much it helps to be able to talk to someone who truly understands exactly what you are saying.

It is so very difficult to try to explain OT to someone who cannot grasp the concept of our 'every day life'. Sometimes I would like to say, "try walking in my shoes for just one day".

I live in Florida and have been trying to find someone who also lives here and perhaps we could get together to compare notes. So, if you are ever in Florida, let me know and we will get together.

Thank you for replying - I totally agree that it is wonderful to meet someone else that has this problem and talk about similar issues. No one else can possibly understand. If people would just "list their location" when they register then possibly more "meetings" could take place.

I don't know how else to get this message across other than what I am doing - if anyone has a better idea please let me know.
