Shaking 30 to 40 minutes after eating

I have OT. I have found that after I eat within 30 to 40 minutes I feel very shaky and my OT is worse. I have checked my blood sugar level and it is fine. This happens no matter what I eat. It could be a high protein meal or high carbs and I still feel shaky and tremors are worse. Has anyone else had this problem?

Eddie: Have you been diagnosed by a neurologist and if so perhaps you should explain to your neurologist what your situation is and perhaps be given additional testing. I have not heard of a like situation in the many years of my study of OT. Hope you find the answer. Gloria

I saw the neurologist today. She does not understand what causes this. A month ago my family practice dr. Was going to make an appointment with an endocrinologist, but they refused to see me because my tests by my regular dr. did not show sugar problems. I was upset because an endocrinologist also deals with metabolism, hormones, and adrenaline problems. My neurologist is sending my doctor a message to try to find and endocrinologist who will see me. I was diagnosed with OT over a year and a half ago. I did some research on the web today and found out that adrenaline plays a big roll in digestion. Of course, too much adrenaline can rev your system up and I know a revved up system can make tremor worse. I am wondering if this is the cause of my problem. I actually was told by a chiropractor adrenaline can be the cause of my problem. Wouldn't it be funny that a chiropractor new the reason why I was shaky and my OT was worse?

Interesting that you mention shaking AFTER eating as I find if my eating is off schedule my tremors worsen when I need to eat. Therefore, I try not to allow myself to get too hungry or allow too much time to lapse between meals.
