TMS Study in Florida

Just Wondering! Have any of you been accepted in the study at the University of Florida? I have been requested to and have sent my medical records and medication list to them but have heard nothing back. No feed back from them yet on if I am accepted for the study or when it will be held. My family Dr. thought I had nothing to loose by taking part in the study and perhaps a lot to gain for myself or others. My OT is progressing faster than I expected. I still keep VERY involved in all my volunteer jobs; I'm afraid to stop doing because at least these jobs keep my mind active.

Hi! Shakeylady: Waiting is always a anxious feeling for me too. But while you are waiting here is something we are hoping all our members will do . If you haven't already go to the website where the subject "September is OT Awareness Month"/ this is our first "September OT Awareness declaration for all of us to participate in. There you will find a Press release/sample letter for you to copy and send to your local newspapers reporting what OT is !!!!!! Today I sent my copy to my local town newspaper. If we all participate this will be a great way in spreading a large "Awareness of OT ". When you have participated in the TMS study at the University of Florida please let us know how your experience was. Keep busy, that's the way to be. Good Luck, Gloria
