Question: Finding a Neurologist in Portland Oregon Area?

Hi! I have had symptoms of OT prior to being diagnosed with Graves Disease/Hyperthyroidism about three years ago. The Graves Disease is either in remission or gone, as I no longer need medication for hyperthyroidism and my thyroid levels are normal. However, the OT symptoms continue. I have seen a Portland OR neurologist twice and was referred to a movement disorder neurologist, who may not be familiar with OT. I'd like to know of a Portland and/or Salem Oregon area neurologist familiar with OT. Thank you.

I just signed on to check the forum and found your post.

Just a suggestion regarding finding a neurologist in your area ~ Portland, Oregon. If you look at the top of the page, on the right side, you will see an area "search". If you type Portland, Oregon in that space and hit "search", you will see others who live in Portland.

You may be able to get the information you want from there. I hope someone will be able to help you.

Hello Julianne,
I live 70 miles north of the boarder in Washington. I have not found a neurologist who has been of any help so far. I was checking the Seattle hospitals and OT is only mentioned. My GP would set me up with an apt. where ever I wanted to go. Tried clonazipan ..not a good experience except it let me sleep all night... Have you found anyone that is informed and eager to help..??
I have a daughter living in Portland and her best friend lives in Gresham.
