Bacterial Infection prior to POT?

I was wondering if anyone had a bacterial infection such as Lyme Disease or Bartonella prior to POT. I have chronic Lyme Disease which has caused some neurological problems. Does anyone now it nerve damage due to bacterial infection has caused Tremors in the legs?

Stillstanding: It is not known if bacterial infection is the cause of Tremors of the legs. I have heard from a few people who think they can associate the beginning of their tremors with a bacterial infection but the list of possible causes is long as it is with most diseases. Nonetheless, this is a good place for everyone that thinks they have an idea of when their OT began to report their thoughts.

For the last nine years I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's and I'll skip the lengthy missive about how I ended up here but I'm pretty darn sure I have OT and a really wicked case of it. My GP put me on Clobazam and it has changed my life overnight. I know quite a bit about movement disorder as I have made a kind of hobby of it you could say. There is a significant amt of research out there linking neurological damage (often resulting in tremors of many variations) to viruses, pesticides, toxins of infinite variety and even trauma from car accidents etc.

Stillstanding: I understood Lyme disease (which can mimic many disorders) is caused by ticks (those little black bugs you pick up in the woods) What is chronic Lyme disease? I also heard it can be tested for but the most effective test is fairly pricey so insurance companies will only pay for an "economy" version unless your willing to cough up the $$$ yourself for the real thing. (Copper poisioning is another thing we should all be tested for as a matter of routine.) I came across a fellow who was diagnosed with PD for 13 years before some Neurologist tested him for Lyme Disease and he tested positive. Was treated for it (quick, cheap and simple) and he now lives a normal healthy life.

The Abstracts I pulled off Pubmed on OT tell me they really know very little about it. For what it's worth I think we're a long way from getting any really useful help from the science world. Our best allies are the info we share on websites like this and documenting everything that affects us, or that we suspect affects us and talking about it with each other. Parkinson's disease was considered an old person's disease until Micheal J. Fox came along. 15 years ago Neurologists were seeing less than

hi everyone out there,
my condition seemed to start when i was on meds for high colestrol
Baycol combined with Violux. 2 drugs which were taken off the market.
That is when i first found the calves of my leggs different.
That is about 7 years ago.
