Hello everyone. I am new to computers as I just got a computer for Christmas and I still am very slow. But, one of the reasons my family got me a computer is so that I can understand and learn more about my orthostatic tremor that has plagued me for 7-10 years. I am over 80 and my ability to stand is getting worse, as well as my inability to stand erect.
Would like to know who is in the Midwest, too, with OT. I am presently taking Neurontin and Klonopin and Primidone. But nothing seems to help much. Would love to hear how others are doing. Happy New Year

Your message looks like you've accomplished quite a bit in just a couple days. But please don't hesitate to ask for help if it appears that something on the forum isn't working correctly. Just wanted to say hello and I hope you find help and support from this great website. It must be more difficult for you to have this tremor at your time of life. Dear Penelope: It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Website/Forum. You are already an accomplished computer person so be proud of yourself. Sharing and communicating with others within your new circle of OT friends I hope you will find it to be a very positive thing. Perhaps as people state their locations( as you from the Mid-West) in time, this might help others to find OT'ers within reasonable distances to communicate with and perhaps form local support groups. Nonetheless, the internet has made it possible for all of us to find friends worldwide who share this bummer of a disease.
