Essential Tremor

Hi everyone,

A dear lady directed me to this forum. Above is a link of a support group that I own for ET awareness and related disorders. It is based in Australia yet International.
I suffer ET (Essential Tremor) along with hundreds of others. Some people have OT as well as ET that is similar to others having Parkinsons as well.
There are many tremor disorders, and I was only diagnosed last year. With the diagnosis, it made me more confident to look further and try to help others.
I love to read of others and their experiences, have a great day.
Our support group is basically just that, more of a family feel around the world, also, if we can help each other then we can help ourselves. I am glad you have a forum like this as OT is hard to diagnose and often confused with Restless Leg Syndrome - a common disorder in PD.
My son is a 5th year medical student whom recently diagnosed some tremor patients, especially the OT patient.

Thank-you for the introduction of your link to your support group for ET awareness and related disorders. Our website ( OT Resources) is an International support group as well. Because there are some OT people that have ET it is important that we overlap awareness of other sources of communication and support. To find others who understand the challenges we face is the best medicine available for us at the present.
