I can understand the anguish you are going thru with your mother’s situation and especially with distance between . However, in the history of OT and even at present there are still many people trying to be diagnosed and tested. What I suggest you do is to search for a large medical hospital near the Oslo area with a " Neurological Movement Disorder Center" and ask if they can give your mother an EMG test for her OT.

Wishing you good luck, Gloria

Thank you..That is done already...Just can't seem to find the right place. They say the do not have the testing equipment....I do not understand that...She came home heartbroken today from a center that claimed they did not understand the doctors instructions on how to take the test and again saying they don't have the right equipment if they knew how to...I'm loosing my mind.....

The test you are seeking is called EMG. Most neuro-clinics have the machines for EMG as they are used for several tremor illnesses. Electrodes are connected to muscles and a diagram is produced that shows the tremors.
Oslo universitetssykehus is one place.. her doctor needs to remit her there.

Good luck,

Hi Lumpur
I have an adress in Göteborg not so far from
Oslo. Dr Magnus Nordin, SDS kliniken, Vasaplatsen 8.
I was there myself in June and got My OT diagnosis . I have had my tremor problems for at least
15 years. I feel a kind of relief to have got the diagnosis, but what will happen now I do not know.
Hope you can contact dr Nordin.
