Could use some input

I am hoping to find someone to help me. I am 59 yrs old and losing the ability to walk. I have serious pain in both thighs and muscle spasms not only in the thighs but also at times in my right foot and left shoulder. The ache in my thighs is constant and the front muscles ofter spasm/twitch for hours, my right foot big toe twitches most of the time. I can not walk unaided more than about 50 feet, can not stand for any length of time, and am easily tired with the simplest of tasks. I should also mention that "shower days" are usually the worst.
I have seen three neurologist, each doing more testing than the previous until there was no other tests to do. And all of the tests were normal. (MRI's, CT's, Spinal tap, extensive blood work, etc....).
I am on Neurotin and Zanaflex.....and recently started taking Propoxy at night to help me sleep because my legs still spasm during the night.
We are at a loss as to what to do next....other than watch me get worse until something happens that might give someone a clue.

If you think there is a chance that you may be of some assistance to me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Tim

Welcome to the website but unfortunately none of us can begin to diagnose over the internet, however, don't give up the search for a neurologist who can put together your symptoms. I suggest that you find a neurologist at a medical institution that has a Neurological Movement Disorder Center. Best wishes, Gloria
