Hello Everyone,
I was diagnosed only recently with OT, and finding this website has been such a comfort to me. I felt very alone in dealing with this problem and now know that others have it and don't think I am crazy!
My doctor prescribed a small dose of Primidone awhile ago and I have not notice much difference in the tremors. I am also having a problem with night sweats since starting the medication. I am wondering if it has an adverse reaction to the estradol I am taking for ERT.
Has anyone else taken Primidone and if so what were your results? I would certainly be interested to hear.

I have been on Primidone for several years now. I am taking 200mg per day. 100 with breakfast and 100 after dinner. At first I thought that Primidone was helping, but, now I doubt it. I am thinking of stopping to see what would happen. I may wait until I see a neurologist again. Last time he said that I could go up to 700mg per day.

Concerning side effects, I really do not know. I do however frequently have night time sweats as you mention, but, I do not know if this is due to the primidone.
