Hi Richard,
You are welcome to post information about your email list here. But, I did want to post a quick explanation as to why we have chosen the forum instead of an email list as the venue for the OT resource. OT isn't a subject with many resources, so the biggest benefit that we have found is that people can scroll down the list of previous posts and look for topics that are of interest and in many situations help confirm our own thoughts such as in the recent post by Chrissie "The doctors told me for two years "it was all in my mind" ( welcome to the forum Chrissie! ).
The OT resource is as much about helping the members as it is about helping the people that are new to OT, the caregivers and physicians as well. The ability to easily search, or casually view the previous posts is often the greatest benefit.
This forum has become a resource to the entire OT community because of the input of its wonderful members.
regards,
admin

Thanks Gloria, and I agree with everything you say. My experience with email lists teaches me that when people get desperate they need someone to talk to NOW, and I feel email gets close to that, if not close enough!
You have pioneered this subject, Gloria, and we all owe you a great debt of gratitude. Hopefully my email list can run side by side with yours.
Anyway, I've only got a handful of members, as yet!
Love
Richard
