What experience has anyone had with DBS or Deep Brain Stimulation for orthostatic Tremors?

I would not have anybody poke in my brain with hopes to bring relief for OT. That might bring on a whole new string of problems. Brain surgery is in my opinion throwing out the child with the dirty bath water. I think I read that someone found acupuncture to work. That is about all the poking I would allow...

I feel the same way about DBS!! Acupuncture works for only the tremors in my arms and hands. The relief occurs two days AFTER the procedure and only for about two days, but it is some relief.
