Hello All,
Has anyone tried Primidone for OT? Also did it work?
Thank you.

I am on primidone and have been on for a number of years. I take 200 mg/day
I do not think that it does any good or has it ever. I suggested to neurologist that we run a test and see if there is any reaction.
He just said no, keep on taking it, it is helping you
End of story

Hi,
I wouldn't take something that isn't helping, just my opinion.
Thanks for replying.

Gloria:
I just tested my standing time. I stood still with my feet about 15 inches apart.
After one minute i started to become uncomfortable.
I forced myself to stand, however, and lasted for a total of 3 minutes.
( Stop watch timed)
Regards

Dwight

Hi: Dwight: Your neurologist seems so positive that Primidone is helping you and I just thought that I would ask about your standing time because perhaps he feels you are standing longer than most other OT people he has as patients . Good to read the postings from an old friend of mine. Gloria

I was on Primidone. 100mg 3x/day. It worked great for quite a few months and then when they upped it to 400mg/day, I had allergic reactions to it. Personally, I thought it worked great (when it worked).

I've tried Primidone and it very nicely helps my upper body tremors. It is/was useless for my legs.
