Coping with rare neurological diseases
I am a new member of this group. I have been diagnosed with Orthostatic tremor and Orthostatic Myoclonus. After trying a number of medications, none of which did much good, deep brain stimulation surgery was suggested. I had the surgery in June of 2013 and it was very successful. I had been wheelchair bound for about a year. Now I can stand and walk and the tremors and Myoclonus jerking are completely gone. I will be happy to share my experiences with anyone who is interested. Bill Beasley
