"State of Our OT Union"

Post by gloria »

Dear forum members,

We are already 2 months into the new year and here are a couple notes about the website.

- The NEW FORUM has just celebrated its 1 year anniversary/birthday and it now has 85 active members that literally span the globe. Combined with responses to other areas of the website we have heard from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Switzerland, Germany,Tasmania, France, Spain, Israel, So. Africa, NZ, Wales and the list keeps growing.

- The Survey has had over 300 responses

- There appears to be an increasing number of research articles about OT

- You can now find links to orthostatictremor.org at webmd.com, tremor.org.uk, essentialtremor.org, rarediseases.org and many more

- But, the most important outcome of the OT Resource is that we are forming a community of support. I am always encouraged by the interesting topics and the willingness of the members to help. It's always OK to come to the forum with your thoughts, complaints and even whining, as we know there aren't any easy answers for us, but let's hope that this will change soon.

Even if you are only a casual reader of the Forum, and haven't become a member PLEASE sign up. It is so IMPORTANT that each individual be counted and become a part of our existence to promote AWARENESS of our disorder.

Your OT Partner, Gloria
