H63D gene and orthostatic tremor
Have any of you been tested positive for the H63d iron gene? I've found I was. Researching, I've found connections with this gene with neurological issues, ataxias, postural instability, Parkinsons, etc.... Iron overload in the brain can be spotted with a 3T MRI easily - the open MRI's don't spot them. I don't see any suspicion of iron deposits causing OT yet I see a study on glutamate increasing the iron in the brain. Hmmmm wondering if this is a clue to the cause of OT? Anyway, I'm going to get my claustrophobic self under control and take that 3T MRI.
