Re: 2017 September OT Meeting/Research

The poster DOES look great! It certainly catches ones attention ~ that's what we want. The more people who see it and question, "What is OT?", the better for us. My husband, Paul, and I plan to attend the meeting/research in Omaha in September, and I look forward to seeing everyone again. ...

Re: Standing Time? this is how long I can stand...

Dear Gloria, You were the very first person I met who had OT. When we met, I think it was about 2003 or 2004; and the rest is history. Yes, you are right, even back then, my walking was different from most; it still is. Neurologist don't know why. I found your website and thought I 'had struck gold'...

Re: Standing Time? this is how long I can stand...

Hello all..... It has been a looooong time since I have posted anything on the forum. I thought it was time I started again. I saw this post from Gloria and thought I would add my comments. I have had OT about 22 years, diagnosed in 2003 by Dr. Seth Pullman in NYC. I also have a limited standing tim...

Re: OT Meeting Houston - March 10-11 discussion

Hello Mike and All..... First, Mike, I wanted to thank you for the excellent videos you posted on the website. You said things most of us have forgotten or just take as 'part of my life now'. For people who don't/can't understand what it's like to have OT, you explained it very well. Thank you for t...

Re: How is everyone?

Hi Chris, Thanks for your reply; I know by the end of the day, I am spent. I don't experience any sort of low grade temperature as you do, I am just very fatigued. This was my first experience with such severe chills and fever. Still have no answers, but perhaps one day. I am regaining my strength, ...

Re: How is everyone?

Hi Nin, Thanks for your reply. No, I have not been tested for sleep apnea, but am well aware of what it is. I don't think that is my problem, it's something else, yet to be determined. My husband has it, has had surgery for it and our older son also has severe sleep apnea. He also had surgery, but i...

Re: How is everyone?

My dear Gloria, You are always so prompt to reply to all messages and I do appreciate your prompt reply to mine. I hope to hear if anyone else has experienced anything like this ~ it is so very strange. My doctor couldn't find anything wrong with me; did mention there is something going around, but ...

Re: How is everyone?

Hello all... It has been quite a while since I have posted, but decided I would today, with a question. I think I saw in another area "Has anyone experienced this?" ~ and I have experienced something very different ~ for me. This past week, I have experienced chills and fever in the early ...

Hi Mike, It's been a while since I have been on the forum, but is always good to read your posts. As Jeff said....congratulations to your daughter on her PhD. Also, wonderful you were able to get Pat's news release into such a large paper. When you have your interview the 29th on Talk Radio Europe, ...

Re: Three people have had positive results with prisms.

Thanks for the information, Linda. I guess one must find a really good doctor in order to get the best results. At this point, I must begin searching for someone familiar with prisms.

I'll let you know how things work out.

Thanks,
Betty

Re: Three people have had positive results with prisms.

Hello Linda,

Thanks for your response as well. As I indicated to Nancy, the only problem I have with my eyes is the need for correction; no problems with eyes turning in or out.

Now to find someone in my area to "fix" the problem.

Re: Three people have had positive results with prisms.

Hello Nancy, Thanks for the quick response. Weren't you with Jane in Omaha giving the talk on prisms? I was there as well. It was very interesting. I don't have any problems with my eyes other than the need for correction. It's time for me to have my eyes checked, so I will try to find someone who k...

Re: Three people have had positive results with prisms.

Hello all,

It has been some time since I have posted anything; not since last year.

I have a question, perhaps it has been asked and answered and I missed it.

My question is: Do prism glasses work for people who have trifocals?

Thanks,
Betty

Re: Reports from the Omaha Meeting and Research 2014

Hello from Florida! I thought I would add a few words to what has been written regarding the meeting in Omaha. First, I think we all want to thank Peggy for the wonderful job she did getting everything organized for ALL the meetings thus far. We must also thank Jeff for all the work he has done on t...
