Quinine Sulphate

Has anybody used this product? It was prescribed for me by my GP when I complained of being woken during the night by severe pains in my legs. Quinine Sulphate was prescribed (one at night) which I took for one night and the following day my tremor was much much worse and was nervous to walk at all ...

Re: OT - Experienced over time; the Golfnut story

Hi Golfnut
Great to hear your positive outlook yet again.
Unfortunately in my case I have not been so lucky and it has progressed quite a lot but i still like to hear positive stories like yours and feel there may be a future after all!

Re: Cannibis Oil

Hi Adrian good to hear from you and that you are also interested in the cannibis oil. I have been in touch with Gino Kenny a couple of times and he assures me that when it is made legal as a medicine that he will make sure that it is made available to everyone who could benefit from it I also bought...

Aid to use at swimming pool

Hi all I would like to go to aqua aerobic classes in my local swimming pool but am nervous about slipping. I am fine once I am in the pool but the trip to and from the pool and changing rooms without anything to hold on to I find difficult. Some one suggested trying a "tripod" type support. Just won...

Re: Give prisms, vision therapy a shot

How lucky you all are to be living in USA when it comes to solutions like this. Even though I would not live anywhere else but Ireland it is such a small country when it comes to these sort of problems I would say that the "specialists" in this area would be to put it mildly rare if not non existent...

Re: Where in the world is OT?

I hate to have to tell you that we in Ireland have been missed off your map. Maybe we are too small to be counted. I know of 3 including myself and there could be a fourth out there, if still in the land of the living. Thanks for the map it helps to see the rest of our fellow sufferers. Regards Adr...

Really hope this helps you as well as it did last time. Longer evenings coming so this will help all of us in Europe to get over the "winter blues" - hopefully.

All the best

Re: OT - Experienced over time; the Golfnut story

Hello "Golfnut" and a Happy New Year to you and all. Have just returned to view your posts after a rather hectic Christmas - by that I mean constant meals for Adult children and spouses who were delighted to have" such a long break!" Me - I thought it would never end and was happy to wave goodbye to...

Re: CoQ10

Hi Gloria and Di Di A question for you on CoQ 10 - have been doing some "googling" to do price comparisons and I keep coming across CoQ 10 with ubiquinol and then one with ubiquinone - the former seems to be more suitable for older people but is much more expensive. It does seem that one has to take...

Re: CoQ10

Hi Gloria Definitely agree with you about the 4 o'clock - I am 64 - feeling like 94 when it comes to that time of the day - I think it is just the thought of having to cook dinner and all that goes with it - don't know how many TV programmes I really wanted to watch in the evenings but missed as I n...

CoQ10

Hello to everyone and belated Happy Thanksgiving to all in US - was wondering if anyone has taken CQ 10 - a friend recommended it as she had great results when she was suffering from polymyalgia - I know it is not the same as OT but have seen that it may be a help for people with Parkinsons - just p...

Re: Mini OT meeting in Bray, Ireland

Hi Gloria Sorry for delay in responding to your message. Like Micheline I too have being doing some research to see if I could find someone closer to home who could give the same help with homeopathy and energy medecin which Golfnut got help from but unfortunately most homeopaths I have contacted se...

Re: Mini OT meeting in Bray, Ireland

It was great to meet other people with OT especially Golfnut who is a person of incredible energy and determination. She was very generous with her time and recounted the full story of her journey to the stage she is at now - with almost no tremors. It did all seem a bit incredible but I think we al...
