Re: Triggers for tremors

Jenna, I believe your new doc is probably correct. I had food and chemical sensitives before this disorder reared its ugly head. It is so difficult to avoid the triggers though. They are everywhere. I even try to take only white medications when I can, but it isn't always possible. And, of course, a...

Re: New to the forum? post a quick introduction

Gloria, Yes, my B12 was low, but it was due to the problem with intrinsic factor. My body could not absorb B12 through my stomach so that is why I get monthly injections. I have been taking Clonazepam for several years. It seems to be the first line of treatment and it helped me. I take .25 mg 4 x daily. Re: New to the forum? post a quick introduction

Gloria, thank you. I have just updated my profile. I hope it helps to find some folks in the area. I think it might take a while for me to learn to navigate this site. It looks as if there is a wealth of information here, even though there is not much I have learned out there in the world. Where is ...

Triggers for tremors

Has anybody noticed that foods or chemicals trigger the tremors to worsen? I have noticed that these things have a major effect on how bad a day I have. I need to avoid food dyes, especially yellow dye, MSG, preservatives, and many chemical cleaning ingredients, air freshener, etc. I have also found...

I wonder if there is anyone in my area who knows of a support group or if there is anyone here who lives close to me. I live in Somers, NY. It is upper Westchester County, NY, near to Danbury, Ct. ...
