I live in Chicago and see a neurologist who too has an awareness and some knowledge about OT. I see him at the most twice a year, mainly to monitor the climax roam I take. During my visits, he likes to have med students, residents or colleagues who haven't seen a person with OT to sit in and observe...

Shingles and OT

One of our members noted that Shingles could cause balance problems. I'm interested to know how many of you with OT had Shingles. I did have the Shingles and the pain is horrible. There is now a vaccine to prevent the Shingles. I'd strongly suggest that you talk to your doctor about getting the shot...

I have noted that any food that triggers tremors. Mostly if I am standing or walking too long is when my legs get very tired and I have to lie down for awhile.

In response to some of the questions that were asked. I was diagnosed 3 years ago. I tried physical therapy which no real positive results except perhaps more awareness of my body movements.
