Re: Survey # 2 - Thoughts, Questions, Feedback

Wonderful job, Mike Pam and Annetta. The survey is very comprehensive and should be very useful. It is a substantial report and wonderful resource. Hopefully some medical people will be interested.
Thank you for your hard work. Blossom

Breast MRI problems

Has anyone had problems with breast MRI imaging due to tremors. I have had difficulty with standing for a mammogram and on asking about sitting have been told it is not ideal for a good image so just grin and bear it. My oncologist and specialist radiologist recommendation was for a breast MRI every...

Re: New to the forum? post a quick introduction

Hello Warren Thank you for sharing your story. I hope your hip replacement on the 18th and follow up PT goes well. OT can make things more difficult and complex when we have multiple things going wrong. Not just the difficulty teasing out what is happening due to one condition but the tricky interac...

Re: Good news,....for me and for some of you

Hello Petra
Lovely to hear from you and pleased that you have had a positive consultation.

It is good when a doctor gives a patient a reason why a particular diagnosis does not apply, not simply a blanket no it is not that.

Best wishes for the future

“Doctor, I used to think the shaking legs was a symptom of post traumatic stress (having had a 2-3 years of stressfull events following a natural disaster (bushfire)) but now I realize that it occurs more frequently and at times when there should be no stress like watering the garden, cooking, showe...

Re: Environmental exposure prior to OT symptoms:

I have a question about this survey. Because none of these factors apply in my case I just checked the last box with none of the other boxes ticked. Is that what one is supposed to do? How else is it possible to indicate that none of these factors seem to apply?

Re: Phobia and OT or only OT ??

Hello Petra Thank you for sharing your story. I am sorry you have had such a difficult time but really appreciate your sharing it. Hi Linzi Congratulations on your marriage and best wishes for your wedding. I agree with Chris that the pain and stiffness in the calf muscles and across the shin bones after standing for a while can be severe. If I am required to stand for a a long time it may take days to recover. Also my lower ba...
