Re: Neurological Physiotherapy

That's one of the main problems with our condition - no one can see it or know what it feels like if they don't experience it themselves. I find that even those I tell, can forget. I really is disabling and made worse by the fact that there is such lack of belief/understanding. Maybe we should try t...

Neurological Physiotherapy

Hello everyone, Sorry its been such a long time. The OT is getting worse for me and I am wondering what to do next. Has anyone here had help from a Neuro Physiotherapist? Topro Troja Rollator anyone tried one?

Hello all, I am thinking of replacing my very basic, heavy and bulky rollator with a Topro Troja. They are expensive, but light weight and appear to be more easy to use. Has anyone had one of these themselves? They of course do have a seat :) .
Best wishes

It has been a difficult journey with many complications, 3 operations and pins, plates and screws, and only just out of plaster and ready to weight bear, so I need now to learn to walk again. Not able to use crutches because of trem...

Cant agree more, Maureen, I have mentioned this item before on the OT site. I got mine through ebay, you can also order them from the manufacturers directly. There is also a 4 wheeled verson that sometimes I feel might be better for me because I could push it and have more control over it therefore ...

Hello Patty & all I too watched the Horizon programme last night and had a similar thought. I mentioned the subject to the Neurologist last time I went and they are supposed to be checking it out for me. Hopefully (but unlikely) I will get a useful answer when I next go back in about 3 months ti...

Publicity? / German TV programme

A few weeks ago I was in a chatroom (for people with Lupus) & mentioned my OT. One of the members mentioned that there had been a programme on tv in Germany about a woman with OT who "had to keep moving all the time, poor woman". Unfortunately, I couldnt persue this because person who ...
