Hello Sparrow,

I read your post regarding the Orthostatic Tremor meeting in the UK; and you were asking for additional information or news. You indicated you live in Dublin, Ireland; perhaps you could travel to the UK if and when a meeting is set up.

You might try getting in touch ~ via this website ~ with Richard from Somerset, UK who is trying to put together a meeting of OT sufferers there. I think he has been writing under the heading UKOTS ~ News on a UK Meeting! He is in touch with Dr. Peter Bain.

It makes such a difference to be able to meet and talk with others who also have OT. You don't feel so alone; and everyone knows exactly what you are experiencing and understand.

Good luck.....

I, too, would like to attend a meeting in England with my fellow POT sufferers.

I'm just being curious, was a meeting ever accomplished through the UK email list that was circulating?

If not, don't be discouraged by the enormity of creating a meeting, the weather is nicer now, so it can be as easy as picking a convenient cafe/pub and sharing stories. There doesn't need to be any real mission or schedule of events, just people connecting with a similar thread.

Even if just 2 people show up it's a successful meeting.

best regards
