Where did our website go!!!! ....

We are very sorry that the website was inaccessible for a period of time. The forum will be back as soon as possible. The Data Center that hosts the website experienced an unfortunate incident ( more information below if you are interested). We store the static information on the main part of the website, but because this is a dynamic forum we rely upon our webhost to maintain nightly backups. They are currently trying to retrieve this information for us.

UPDATE-

There is some hope that they will be able to recover the forum. The problem is that we can rebuild the forum today with the files that we have, but we would revert back to November 29, 2009 and the messages/discussions that have occurred after that date would be lost. So, we are holding out to try to get us back to the point that we were on February 22, 2010 when this problem started. It appears ( nothing definite until I see it) that we have a chance that we can be back to where we left off but it will still be next week before this is all restored. In the event that we need to go back to November 29th then that is what we will need to do, but let's keep positive and hope for the best.

In the meanwhile I hope everyone is well and taking care of themselves, just think of all of the nice things that you can do for others with the time that you would have been on the website : )

Keep a pad of paper nearby and when you think of things for the forum, jot them down..... we will be back.

best regards... admin.

Outage Report from Data Center:

Dear Valued Customer,
We would like to provide you with an update regarding the recent incident at the South Data Center.
During a pre-scheduled semi-annual fire suppression system inspection at our South Data Center on Saturday, an
inadvertent release of Inergen, an inert gas used in the suppression of fire, was triggered. As we have done on a
regular basis for many years, we engaged a nationally recognized third party fire suppression system inspector to
conduct the system inspection. Although we have specific processes in place to prevent an inadvertent discharge,
this release was triggered by an actuator that was not removed by the third party service provider, as was required
by standard operating procedure and by our documented process.
While there was no downtime in facility power, cooling or bandwidth at any time, some customers did experience
drive failures. Although we cannot precisely describe how the discharge of Inergen could cause drive failures, the
fact remains that some failures did occur following the release. We are working both internally and with the third
party service provider to gain clarity on this issue.
